“My passion for marketing and communications was ignited during my time at Morehead State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication, specializing in Advertising and Public Relations, in 2004.
 
My career in advertising sales began as an Executive Account Manager at WDKY FOX 56, where I gained firsthand experience in the sales industry and the importance of building strong business relationships. That experience fueled my entrepreneurial spirit, leading me to launch AdVice Media in 2011.
 
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of businesses—from small startups to regional organizations—helping them craft compelling brand stories, build strong digital footprints, and connect with their target audiences in meaningful ways. I believe in a client-first approach, taking the time to understand each business’s unique goals and tailoring strategies that deliver results.

Emilee Hood

Emilee is a purpose-driven professional with a rich background in public health, community engagement, and customer service—making her a perfect fit at AdVice Media, where relationships and meaningful connections are at the heart of everything we do.
 
Before joining our team, Emilee served as a Social Determinants of Health Community Strategist at Aetna Medicaid. There, she combined data-driven strategy with human-centered design to build sustainable community partnerships and advance health equity. Her ability to communicate effectively and build trust helped strengthen relationships between healthcare providers, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
Emilee’s career began in the field, working as a Community Health Worker with CHI Saint Joseph Health. Her work focused on breaking down barriers to care, navigating resources, and meeting people where they are—skills that now inform how she connects with clients and crafts messaging that truly resonates.
 
With a Master of Public Health from Indiana Wesleyan University and a B.A. in Health Promotion from Morehead State University, Emilee brings a unique perspective to the marketing world. Her experience in both healthcare and customer service has shaped her approach to storytelling, strategy, and connection—understanding that behind every brand is a community it serves.
